Rosie Maez, Director of Operations and Marketing
Rosie Maez is the conductor of The Maez Group symphony. While her husband Joe likes to say she got him “into this mess,” she’s actually a big reason it’s not a mess, but a well-organized, beautifully run orchestra. As the Director of Operations and Marketing, Rosie oversees the broker recruitment as well as marketing and business logistics.
The daughter of an artist, Rosie has never been an inside-the-lines thinker, doing things her own way with great results. Rosie has held nearly every role within the brokerage from photographer to sales and understands what goes into each step of getting a home bought or sold. She knows what it takes and has applied her brand of excellence and positivity to every task: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.”
Whether setting an example for their two kids or taking on a brand-new broker, Rosie teaches every situation is an opportunity to learn and grow. She admits she and Joe have had failures, but each time they’ve managed to fail forward and come out stronger. They’re designing the life they want and building it together.
Rosie’s passion is helping others grow to exceed their potential and design their own lives, instead of being stuck in status quo inside other people’s expectations. She looks for opportunities with her team to guide them, so they know, whatever they want, there’s a way to get it. Rosie thrives guiding people through new situations, pushing them to face challenges, and helping them understand their power is found harnessing the positive in every situation and taking the leap regardless of discomfort.
Rosie is a designer by nature. She and Joe curated the life they want for their family and a business where the network of support and resources are more akin to family ties than colleagues. They’ve also created a platform to help their staff and brokers succeed for themselves—identifying strengths and passions and designing a role within The Maez Group to fulfill the person, instead of having a person fulfill the role. Because of their custom-fit recruiting model, everyone at the brokerage is happy with their job, their operations are more efficient, and the culture is one of encouragement and kindness. Rosie loves participating in the success of their team, paying homage to each member’s individual strengths and the unified culture and values they share.
